GravesZIP ist ein Archivprogramm, bei dem Verschlüsselung an erster Stelle steht, entwickelt mit Avalonia und herausgegeben von GravesWare, LLC. Es öffnet, erstellt, testet und entpackt ZIP-Archive und verschlüsselt mit AES-256, sobald Sie ein Passwort festlegen — vollständig auf Ihrem eigenen Rechner.
GravesZIP stellt keinerlei Netzwerkverbindungen her: keine Telemetrie, keine Analysedaten, keine Absturzberichte, keine Suche nach Updates und keine Lizenzabfrage beim Hersteller. In der Datenschutzerklärung steht genau, was auf Ihren Computer geschrieben wird und was nicht.

Native Komponenten sind kompilierte Bibliotheken, die in der Anwendung mitgeliefert werden; sie gehören zur Benutzeroberfläche, nicht zur Archivverarbeitung. GravesZIP enthält keinen eigenen nativen Code und lädt zur Laufzeit keine Bibliothek. Die Pakete, über die sie verteilt werden, und die Upstream-Projekte selbst tragen getrennte Lizenzen; beide sind aufgeführt.

Ein Hinweis zu 7-Zip
GravesZIP enthält 7-Zip nicht, linkt nicht dagegen und setzt es nicht voraus.
Eine frühere Version dieses Produkts band die native 7-Zip-Bibliothek ein. Das wurde bewusst aufgegeben. 7-Zip steht unter der GNU Lesser General Public License, die einem Benutzer das Recht gibt, die Bibliothek durch einen eigenen Build zu ersetzen — ein Recht, das sich in einer statisch gelinkten, signierten iOS-Anwendung nicht einlösen lässt. Statt ein Produkt auszuliefern, dessen Lizenz GravesZIP auf einer seiner Plattformen nicht erfüllen könnte, wurde die Archivverarbeitung auf SharpZipLib neu geschrieben, das unter MIT steht und rein verwalteter Code ist.
7-Zip bleibt ein ausgezeichnetes Programm, und GravesZIP erzeugt gewöhnliche ZIP-Archive, die 7-Zip öffnet. Es ist nur eben kein Teil dieser Software, und GravesZIP unterliegt keiner LGPL-Verpflichtung.
